Video podcast series for Hewlett-Packard Germany launched successfully To this end, MaCS Marketing-Communication-Services has developed a concept that combines a communications mix of online newsletters, web banners and a video reportage series that will be made available as video podcasts for wider distribution via appropriate web portals. Throughout the “HP Days” events, the editorial staff of “HP Computer News“, the business customer magazine produced by MaCS, is engaged in multimedia reporting on the IT infrastructure solutions of the future. In both planned and spontaneous video interviews with customers, HP employees and partners, the editorial team captures the mood and news of the events in a more tangible way, thereby communicating a more emotional perspective on “HP Days”. The short video podcasts (also known as "vodcasts"), lasting no more than three minutes each, will be updated after each interview and made available on the “HP Days” reportage site at www.hp.com/de/hpdays/vodcast. This innovative event reporting creates additional attention and strengthens the recall effect of the events." On the morning following the events, special editions of the "HP Computer News" online newsletter and mailings to both participants and prospective customers present some of the highlights of the "HP Days" events and link to the relevant video reports. And in order to spread the "HP Days" message even more widely, visitors to the website can also use the convenient "recommend the video" option to inform their colleagues.
