It is no exaggeration to say that the new Wacom Intuos3 Pen Tablet System represents a quantum leap in the graphics tablet market. Providing exceptional design, innovative functionality and supreme ease of use, the Intuos3 is the perfect input device for digital photographers, designers, illustrators, video editors and other digital media professionals.
The task for MaCS was to communicate this new dimension to graphics tablet distributors and end customers across Europe in a clear and exciting way.
Quality in focus
There was only one way to represent the high quality of the design visually: high quality product shots. As a result, an impressive product picture was central to each communication piece.
The ever-present "Efficiency can be breathtaking" headline captured both the breathtaking product design as an emotional component, as well as stating the key benefit of increased efficiency. Together, the headline, product photography and consistent visual appearance ensured maximum recognition across each communication piece.
One look, six languages
For this campaign, MaCS developed and produced the product packaging, a comprehensive sales folder for distributors, an end-customer flyer, and a product advert for specialist design magazines. MaCS also developed a variety of sales support measures including text templates for Wacom distributors, datasheets and pricelists. Finally, MaCS created an HTML e-mail to be sent to existing users of the Intuos3's predecessor (Intuos2) and other contacts on the Wacom database.
To enable the campaign to be implemented Europe-wide, all deliverables were adapted and produced in six languages.
