Case studies, the latest developments and success stories were all part of the program at the “WebEx Experience 05“, staged in Paris, London and Düsseldorf in June 2005

 

WebEx is the leading provider of professional services for web conferences, video conferences and online meetings. With WebEx services, enterprises can conduct real time training, support, marketing and sales communications.

 

From experience into practice

After presenting the product roadmap of the WebEx Services Training Center, Support Center, Event Center and Sales Center, WebEx invited companies to present case studies.

 

Amongst those invited to present their experiences to the attendees in Düsseldorf on June 21, was Wolfgang Tittmar, CEO of MaCS. Mr. Tittmar outlined the development of the highly successful “VeriSign WebAcademy”, which was developed by MaCS for VeriSign, as well as "IT Presenter", a web seminar Service developed by MaCS.

 

Web seminars answer needs of IT users

The WebAcademy from VeriSign is a regular web seminar used as a tool by VeriSign to generate and qualify leads. The experience of VeriSign shows there is growing interest in Europe concerning online seminars.

A questionnaire conducted by the company in September 2004 revealed:

• 95 percent of participants were pleased with the information presented in the WebAcademy seminars
• Majority of participants were willing to pay a cover charge to attend the web seminars
• 66 percent of participants are interested in registering for web seminars conducted on other topics
